Spirit World is the place for events related to wine and spirits. Please browse our calendar of events, and feel free to call us if you have any questions. In addition to the public events listed below, we are also available for private events such as wine tastings, beer tastings, bourbon tastings, scotch tastings...you get the picture!

Single Malt Scotch Tastings 

We do Scotch tastings every few months. To accommodate scheduling conflicts, we are offering Scotch tasting events over two separate evenings. We will sample the same Scotches both evenings, but our hope is that if you can't make it one evening, the other will work. Cost is $20 per person ($15 for SLC members). No RSVP needed. Scotch SUPER Tasting Event!

Join us Saturday, February 18th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm (one night only) for a very special Scotch tasting event. In celebration of the one year anniversary of our Scotch Lovers Club, we are having a Scotch SUPER Tasting. Tickets are $50 per person or $45 for SLC members.  Due to the exclusivity of the items we're sampling, seats are limited so RSVP is REQUIRED.  You MUST pay in advance to reserve your seat.  For reservations, call 402-391-8680 or stop by the store.  We'll sample 8 SUPER Scotches - here's the lineup so far:

"Share" Events

The idea behind these events is that we "wine/whiskey/etc geeks" have bottles squirreled away that we would love to share with someone who would appreciate it, but we are rarely in the appropriate company to break out the good stuff. So we gather our spirits lovin' friends together on a Sunday evening after the store is closed and each person brings a bottle (or a few bottles) to share with some fellow geeks who will appreciate the opportunity to try something special. Maybe it's something rare, maybe it's no longer available in our market, maybe it's something you've been saving to share with friends who will geek out over it as much as you do.

Our next share event is in the planning stages. There is no cost to attend, but everyone is asked to bring a special bottle you would like to share. We will limit attendance, so RSVP IS REQUIRED. Informal Wine Tastings  Every Saturday, 11:00 am - 8:00 pm

Every Saturday where we will be sampling a selection of new and interesting wines. Feel free to ask questions and learn more about different wines. This is a great opportunity to try before you buy!
